Last Saturday, our school's Culture and Arts Festival was held on the playground, which was decorated with colorful flags and flowers, creating a joyful atmosphere. The festival lasted five hours, starting with a speech by the headmaster. The talented students then took turns to give brilliant performances, including singing, dancing, and martial arts. Among them, the most enthusiastic applause was for the Beijing opera, a joint performance by two boys and their teacher.

The festival is truly an impressive feast of sights and sounds. Not only does it give students a chance to relax, but it is also a catalyst for their passion for culture and the arts. In the future, I hope our school can continue to hold such events, allowing more students to showcase their talents and enjoy the charm of art.

Last Friday, our school launched an activity to rebuild an abandoned garden on campus to raise students' awareness about labor. Over 60 students from each class participated in the activity. Upon arriving at the garden, all the students were divided into two groups. One group was responsible for weeding the garden, and the other for planting flowers. After one and a half hours' hard work, the activity came to an end. Tired as the students were, they had great fun and a sense of achievement.

The activity was thought highly of by all the participants and turned out to be a great success. Not only does it offer students the opportunity to get close to nature, but it also makes them realize the importance of labor. I believe that through more such activities, our students will develop a stronger sense of responsibility and self-reliance.

In order to encourage us students to enjoy the charm of classical culture, our school held the Chinese Classics Recitation activity last Wednesday on the theme of traditional Chinese festivals. During the activity, students recited ancient poems and stories related to Chinese festivals, showcasing their talent and love for traditional culture.

The activity not only enriched our extracurricular life but also deepened our understanding and appreciation of traditional Chinese culture. It made us realize the wisdom and beauty of our ancestors' creations. I hope our school can continue to hold such activities in the future, allowing more students to participate and feel the charm of traditional culture.

In recent years, technology has been developing rapidly, bringing tremendous changes to our lives. From smartphones to smart homes, technology has become an integral part of our daily lives. With the help of smartphones, we can easily access information, communicate with others, and enjoy various entertainment content. Smart homes, on the other hand, have made our lives more convenient and comfortable by automating household tasks.

However, technology also brings some potential problems. For example, the overuse of smartphones may lead to eye strain and neck pain, while privacy concerns are also rising as more and more personal data are collected and analyzed. Therefore, we should use technology wisely and balance its benefits with potential risks.
