In addition, active participation in a variety of sports, from basketball to shuttlecock, will make us both stronger and more energetic. Most importantly, we should take an active part in the morning exercise and PE classes, where we can exercise ourselves under direction.

Last Saturday, our school's Culture and Arts Festival was held on the playground, which was decorated with colorful flags and flowers, creating a joyful atmosphere.

The festival lasted five hours, starting with a speech by the headmaster. The talented students then took turns to give brilliant performances, including singing, dancing, and martial arts. Among them, the most enthusiastic applause was for the Beijing Opera, a joint performance by two boys and their teacher.

The festival is truly an impressive feast of sights and sounds. Not only does it give students a chance to relax, but it is also a catalyst for their passion for culture and the arts.

Last Friday, our school launched an activity to rebuild an abandoned garden on campus to raise students' awareness about labor.

Over 60 students from each class participated in the activity. Upon arriving at the garden, all the students were divided into two groups. One group was responsible for weeding the garden, and the other for planting flowers. After one and a half hours' hard work, the activity came to an end. Tired as the students were, they had great fun and a sense of achievement.

The activity was thought highly of by all the participants and turned out to be a great success. Not only does it offer students the opportunity to get close to nature, but it also makes them realize the importance of labor.

In order to encourage us students to enjoy the charm of classical culture, our school held the Chinese Classics Recitation activity last Wednesday on the theme of traditional Chinese festivals.

The purpose of the activity was to help us appreciate the beauty of Chinese classics and understand the significance of traditional festivals. During the activity, students recited poems and passages related to the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Spring Festival, and other traditional festivals. Each participant presented with great enthusiasm and emotion, making the audience immersed in the rich cultural atmosphere.

As a participant, I felt deeply inspired by the wisdom and beauty of Chinese classics. This activity not only enriched my knowledge but also enhanced my cultural confidence. I believe that through such activities, we can better inherit and promote Chinese traditional culture.
